Chambers USA 2019 once again ranked Robbins Russell one of the country’s top appellate litigation firms. The firm, Chambers reported, has “a well-regarded group of experienced Supreme Court advocates” and makes “regular appearances in federal and state court appeals.” One interviewee praised the firm’s “absolutely fantastic” appellate lawyers.
One of those lawyers, Roy T. Englert, Jr., was heralded as “spectacular” and “highly acclaimed for his ‘formidable recall of case law’ and his ‘ability to develop top-level arguments.’” Roy “brings a wealth of high-level advocacy experience to bear for clients,” the report continued. As a result, Chambers named Roy among the top two dozen appellate advocates in the nation.
Lawrence S. Robbins also earned praise as a “vastly experienced practitioner with tremendous experience arguing before the Supreme Court and in federal and state courts around the country.” An interviewee called Larry a “very strong, very experienced and a very good advocate.”
Chambers also ranked Barry J. Pollack among the top white-collar criminal lawyers in Washington DC, and one of the nation’s best trial lawyers. It recognized Barry as a “highly experienced white-collar practitioner who frequently represents entities and individuals in trials and investigations.” Interviewees told Chambers that Barry has a “strong reputation” for his representation of individuals, and “can get up to speed very quickly.”
