We have particular expertise in performing due diligence for health care companies, defense contractors, financial services firms, and energy and oil services companies.
Robbins Russell regularly conducts internal investigations—often for large publicly traded companies—in a wide variety of settings involving highly sensitive matters. We have particular expertise in performing due diligence for health care companies, defense contractors, financial services firms, and energy and oil services companies, and we have led public and private inquiries for public sector entities, including police departments, city governments, and federal agencies.
In addition, we routinely help private equity firms complete due diligence on their portfolio companies, particularly with respect to compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. We regularly do such work overseas, with recent matters in countries including China, Taiwan, Israel, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Russia. As part of this work, we also help our clients to understand and assess legal compliance matters in connection with proposed acquisitions.
The firm has also counseled clients in evaluating and instituting risk-mitigating policies and procedures, and on several occasions has been hired directly by boards of directors to assess company compliance programs.
